HOW CAN I CHANGE, CHECK OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
Simple! Email us or call on the number provided and we will get back to you on the same working day. If you wish to Cancel, you must let us know within 24 hours of the order being placed. If the Plate has been manufactured, you will not be able to cancel your order
HOW DO I SPACE MY REGISTRATION?
You must display your registration exactly how it shows on your Tax disc, V5 (Log Book) or on your V796 DVLA Document. By Spacing your Number Plate incorrectly, you are creating an illegal plate.
DO I NEED TO SEND IN MY DOCUMENTS?
Yes! We know it is a pain but it is a legal requirement and protecting individual's vehicles from being cloned or plates being used for crime! You need to:
Confirm your identification
We need to see "one" document to confirm your identification (This is the identification for the person placing the order)
1. Driving license, whether or not issued in the United Kingdom (UK) (with or without a photo)
2. A bill issued by your electricity, gas or water supplier, a landline telephone bill, or a council tax bill (current within the last six months) or rates bill (in Northern Ireland only)
3. A bank or building society statement
4. A passport, whether or not issued in the UK
* a national identity card issued by the government of a state or territory other than the UK
5. A debit or credit card issued by a bank or building society
6. A police warrant card
 or an armed forces identity card
Confirm your entitlement
We need to see "one" document to confirm entitlement for the registration number (this document doesn't need to match the identification of the person placing the order, for instance if you are placing the order for someone else)
1. Vehicle registration certificate (V5C or V5CNI)
2. New keeper supplement (V5C/2 or V5C/2NI)
3. Certificate of entitlement (V750 or V750NI) to the number
4. Retention document (V778) – not applicable in Northern Ireland
5. A renewal reminder for vehicle tax or SORN (V11 or V11NI)
6. Temporary registration certificate (V379 or V379NI)
7. A number plate authorisation certificate (V948) with an official stamp from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
8. An electronic number plate authorisation certificate (eV948)
9. A letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the registration certificate
WHERE DO I SEND MY DOCUMENTS?
OPTION 1
You can upload your documents by signing into My Account. Go to the tab Document Upload. This will allow you to submit your documents quickly and securely.
OPTION 2
Post your documents to Office 15 Kent Street Mill Blackburn BB1 1DE .
Please ensure you quote your order reference number and we will return them with your plates as soon as they are made.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEGAL PLATES & SHOW PLATES?
Our Legal plate range is the go to page when displaying your car registration legally but in style. Here at Plates R Us we aim to protect our customers and ensure that our plates will keep you legal on the road. Number Plates have very strict guidelines imposed, failing to meet the regulations can lead to fines and prosecutions. We ensure that our legal number plates are DVLA approved, MOT friendly and meet all UK legislations.
Our Show Plate range is exactly that. Made for show purposes only! They are not made for legal use but a product option if you wish to show off your pride and joy at a car show. These products are sold for off road use only!

Our plates are made up from the finest of supplies and all our 3d and 4d characters are made in house. This means we control the quality of our products and we ensure that the products you purchase are made from the BEST! We also chemically bond our letters to the plates making it virtually impossible for letters to fall off the plate. We love what we do, and we have spent a huge amount of resources and time to ensure that you have the Best Quality plates so you can display your unique registration mark with class and style!
ARE YOU DVLA REGISTERED & DOES YOUR PLATES INCLUDE LEGAL SUPPLIER DETAILS?
Absolutely! Our RNPS Number is 60440. All legal plates BSAU 145E in tiny small writing at the bottom of the plate. This is a legality so the police and relevant authorities can check to see if they are genuine and will pass a MOT Check. We do not use the plate for advertising hence we keep the details small and use our parent company information.
DO I NEED A PRIVATE REGISTRATION TO BUY ONE OF YOUR NUMBER PLATES?
Absolutely Not! Our number plates can be made for standard as well as private registrations. If you have a standard registration that has been issued to the car since its birth, you can still change the style to however you choose to!
